Gas Tank

Need some advice here. 94 F150 4x2, 4.9L. Just replaced the front gas tank (19 gallon). Anyhow, the filler hose runs inside the vent hose on this setup. When dropping the old tank, I accidentally yanked the filler hose off the filler neck. Now, the filler hose nipple is about 8" inside of the filler neck and I can't figure out a way to get the hose back on. Anybody got an ideas for me? As of right now I'm running it with just the 2" vent hose on, which works fine, except you need to fill it up about 1/2 speed to prevent the pump from clicking off.

Thanks,

Tim
