Crank and Rods

Hey guys, need a little help again. I know how to do all the work but I am no bueno at mixing and matching parts. I am rebuilding my 460 and the crank I am looking at has a Rod Journal Diameter or 2.200 in. The Connecting Rods are 2.2200 in. Will these work together and what Connecting Rod bearings should I get? -.020?

some one has ground the crank to fit a BBC rod. A BBC rod journal is 2.20 a BBF rod journal is suppost to be 2.50. This is not uncommon Both my BBF have 2.20 rod journals.
A -.020 bearing will require a 2.18 bearing journal. You will need std. BBC bearing that is narrow or has a champher. Lots of crank grinders radius the edge of the journals and a standard bearing will not allow enough clearence between the rods. Also you may want to make shure the crank is not offset ground to give a little more stroke. I offset grind my 429 cranks to get a little more stroke.

In the short use BBC bearing with a BBC rod with lenth 6.605 if stock stroke and make shure the pistons have the same size wrist pin as the rods .990 in most applications.
