scan gauge is here!

I am really interested to hear how well you guys like the scan gauges. Any chance one of you that bought one could post some info on how well it works, what it displays, how accurate it is, etc? That would be a really nice addition to the standard 3 gauge pod and a really good reason to consider a 4 gauge pod instead.

Did you have to run the switched 12 volt lead or not?

I did not have to use the switched 12 volts. Automatically turns on with key on and turns off in about 5 seconds with key off.
Some observations:
Try the INVERT display for better daytime viewing.
I'm using DATA RATE 4, higher number is slower 1-6.
It's a bit of a challenge programming with two push buttons. A couple passes through and it gets easier.
ANNUNCIATOR Function - Don't program it until you are satisfied with all you other selections. If you go back in to select something else you will have to reprogram the annunciator ...
I'm using the annunciator to monitor battery voltage. Have it programmed to enable the warning red leds when battery voltage falls below 12.3 volts. So, they come on when GPR is activated ...
Remember, you can also scan for and clear stored codes. It will also do Buzz and CC test. It has not been proven if it will retrieve transmission error codes yet ... Some day I'll find out.
Overall if I had to do it over I would purchase one again. Something about the ability to watch real time data that the PCM see's gives one that fuzzy little feeling everything is running properly.
