EV6 Injector Swap

Just got done installing my new(reman) EV6 injectors...for those of you that don't know the EV6 was available in 96 and newer Ford Explorers. They are 19 lbers and completely different pintle design. After getting everything buttoned up and test driving my truck, I am extremely happy with the results. ALOT better throttle response, smoother idle and all around better power. Only time will tell if my fuel mileage goes up like people have said. For 90 bucks, I am extremely with the little bit of work I've had to do to accomplish this. From a dead stop, she'll spin a tiny bit, grab and GO.

Your power increase could just be the difference between fresh and worn out injectors. That would be cool if they are really better. If so thats a great easy mod.

I'm curious to know what actually makes those injectors better than the stock truck ones?

I am running 4.6 Lincoln Navigator Bosch EV6 injectors that utilize the older style connectors that work on our trucks efi harness. I am very happy with the EV6 injector. It has a much better atomization pattern which improves throttle response and mpg...IMO. On my 5.0 Stroker with the EV6 and my latest tune I am averaging close to 21mpg hwy...and I think with a little more tweaking of the tune I will be at 22mpg. This along with 300+ horsepower....the best of both worlds!!
