I need help!

So I was driving down the road and my truck just shut off. After that it cranked really slow. I had it towed to a shop and after looking at it he said I have no oil pressure and my oil pump went out. He also said that it might have ruined my rods an bearings. Does anyone know how much it might cost me if I didn't ruin the rods and bearing?

judging by your statement a bunch if you dont get it out of what ever shoip you have it in.
the motor wont run with out oil pressure on the high side so no real fear of damage to the low side.
the question really is you have 2 oil pumps what one is bad high side or low side?
if the low side then you need to figure out what damaged the pump.

Guess it has already been said. These guys know there stuff. Find a new shop. Even a Ford dealer would be better than that.
