460 Oil Gallery Plug

Well I thought my kid got a bad cam but it turns out that he either forgot to put in the drivers side front oil gallery plug or it fell out. It did run ok for about 20 mins so it may not have been tight.

I thought I could just replace it with a 3/8 pipe plug but I did some research and understand that it is a bit of an odd ball.

Does anyone know where you can get these? I have checked all the local scrap yards and no one has any old 460's they will part out.(he also lost the dip stick!!) Do they come with a frost plug kit?

Thanks Monsterbaby.

I thought they were npt but as my post says they are an odd ball thread. I seen it referred to as F thread one one site.

I will order a plug kit and see if there is one in it.
