Flathead

I have the guy for you. He is the most well known flathead Ford expert around. You wont believe just how much stuff he has. He is semi retired but he and his son Jeff are doing select work. They will work on some "newer" stuff, just did an awesome job of De Smogging my '86 460. Located on the SW side of ATL 20 min from airport. Set aside plenty of time when you come visit, you will not believe the treasures he has there. Has a v-8 on a trailor ready to go totally built, make tears come to your eyes when he cranks it....
Harold "Putt" Smith 770-964-6973 or Jeff 770-757-8945
Tell him Tim Luther said howdy.

Glad to help out. These are both seriously straight up folks. If they tell ya something, count on it being honest. They will redefine the term "old school" lol.
I was serious about the built flathead on the trailor, sweet talk him into cranking it up.
Also check out Jeffs 65 with the 429 in it. Really sweet P/U.

Thanks for the info. I am rebuilding a 1946 pickup. When I bought it it had a 1950 motor in it. The motor is badly rusted with the pistons locked up in the cylinders. One of the cylinders has the side blown out of it, so needless to say, I need a replacement. I would like to replace it with a 1950 or later motor so that the transmission and bell housing would still bolt up. I appreciate any help.
