Fuel Bowl heater Mod, Questions
As is well documented, the fuel bowl heaters are very prone to shorting. many have just unplugged the connector, but that also disables the water in Fuel sensor.
Has anyone just cut the fuel bowl heater feed and capped it? I have never found it needed in any gelled trucks in MT, if they are gelled, its the lines/tank/pump and it all needs warmed.
I have been running mine unplugged as well as my buddy with the late 99 with zero issues, but would like to keep the water in fuel side of the sensor.
After resealing everything in the said late 99 with guzzles bench kit, this is one thing that came to mind in my after projects remeniscing I guess.
