Hi all,
Pulled a code for crank/cam position sensor P1336. Trying to find some info about this before slapping parts on.

345000 km on my 2008 f250 6.4 f250 never had issues before the light came on no issues with the light on all is operational.
From my research 1 is behind or beside the harmonic balancer and 1 by the egr connecting the egr coolers.

Can anyone give me some more details/ info what have you I'd appreciate it much. Cant see to find any write ups or videos about this only the 6.0.

Have the same code thrown on my 2010 F-350 Diesel (Deleted)

I just swapped out both the Crank and Cam shaft position sensors. The job is relatively easy to do on your driveway with a few basic tools. Removing the Steering Stabilizer from the passenger side will give you enough access to get an 8mm socket up and remove the Crankshaft Sensor.

The Camshaft sensor (driver's side) was a piece of cake. Be careful with the electrical harnesses though, they are brittle and cumbersome to disconnect sometimes.
