Trans Fluid Question

I have a 2004 F-350 Powerstroke Diesel with the F5R100 Trans. with 120,000 miles. My question is, I'm not sure if the fluid in the trans has ever been replaced, should I just change the fluid or flush the whole system?

Progress?

I got my trans figured out not sure my thermostat is opening had to drain coolant, hose started leaking but the truck ran for 20 minutes no over heating and im gonna buy a new headlight switch and see what that does for the taillights staying on problem
