F250/F350 coil springs in a F150
I'm looking for some F250/F350 coil springs to put into my '92 F-150 2wd to lift the front end a couple inches, as I just had both rear leaf spring assemblies replaced and now the front sits a bit lower than it used to. I just want it to look leveled out, so should I get some used from the junkyard or order some brand new coils? If I get new, what brands should I consider? Possibly Moog? If so, what part number(s)?
Thanks in advance!

You'll defenently need a good alignment after putting heavy duty springs on a half ton.
Your front will be in the air and your wheels will look like this \ /
New springs aren't going to be very cheap... might wanna check with junk yards first.
Only problem with buying junk yard suspension parts is you don't know what they been through before... so don't know how weak they gotten (if they have gotten weak).
This is pretty stupid, but on my motorhome, the factory overload leafs in the back are really starting to sag, but the original front coil springs are still perfectly in spec, not sagging one bit.
1 ton springs are friggin tough!

Well I got a hold of the junkyard and the guy told me he could order some for me, only wants $50 for each. Not sure if he meant new or used.. so they aren't too expensive. Of course I'll need an alignment but I don't think it will be TOO out of whack when the 1 ton springs are installed. My front coils are sagged and I would just replace them with some stock 1/2 ton coils but I don't like the "2wd rake" so I want it more level.

I have the cc844 coil springs on the front of my f150. I work for a mechanic shop and checked the alignment myself after I installed them and the camber was in the green. I think I paid $80 for the pair of springs brand new. They are very simple to install and you should get your alignment checked after they are put in.

any time you put different springs on any vehicle it is a good idea to have the alignment checked ! with your truck it is a simple task to align it as it has ball joint instead of king pins !
there are bushings for the alignment that your ball joint goes into !
