Morning Georgia.

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful sunny day in GA. I thought I would hit a few scrapyards this weekend. If anyone is having trouble finding parts I would be glad to see if my local yards have them and get a price quote for you. What do you guys have planned to do in the beautiful weather?

Thanks. I know the difficulty in locating needed parts sometimes. Luckily I seem to have a network locally of Ford guys and we all seem to help each other out and pass along good deals. I just thought I would help my fellow Georgians and other nearby neighbors out a little.

A pretty good day overall I ran across a few items I needed and a few I would love to have just for future projects. I ran across a complete 79 F350 8 lug suspension and both a midship and rear tank. I also found a 78 F250 with a complete trim package except tailgate.

Unfortunately not Scott. They only had one 4 wheel drive and it was stripped to nothing. I never made it across town to the other salvage yard. The guy that runs the yard loves to talk so I was detained most of the day. I did get my alt for my 3g upgrade and will get to work on that soon.

It's in Rockmart. I'm not sure of the name anymore. It was Baldwin Auto Inc. but they recently sold out. The yard is located 2 tenths of a mile from my house so if I could be of any help give me a shout. I would be glad to price anything for you.

The hours were 8-5 Mon.-Friday and 8-12 Saturdays. I believe the weekly hours are the same but I was there til almost 2 Saturday and they were still going strong.

Sorry coilee I didn't get by there today. They had already closed by the time I got off. I am going to get by there before the weekend so you will know whether you want to make a trip to get them. Do you have an email address that I could send pics of the items you listed to. I will try to get multiple pics from different angles so you can determine if they are up to par for you needs.
