I must have been tired when I typed my request, because I've never had an F150 or anything close to as new as a 2006. My new arrival is a 95 F350 4x4 Powerstroke Crewcab. Prior to this, I sold my 79 F250 4x4 supercab. Also in the stable is the wife's grocery getter 2000 explorer EB v8. Thanks everyone for the welcome. It'll be good to share/learn local knowledge.

Hi all and thanks alot. I bought a hi-boy late last summer. It has been my dream truck since I was a 16, 17 or so (am 42yrs). It had some issues so I took it to a guy and he helped me get through DEQ, etc. Unfortunately, I had a backfire through the carb which lit up my air cleaner. Luckily I was in my driveway so I put the fire out but there is some damage. I just bought a wiring harness from Painless. Towed it over to Carolina Kustoms (anyone know that shop?). He is an authorized installer for Painless. Needs lots more stuff,... Oh, he is also upgrading my ignition with MSD brain box, coil and distrib.
Welcome to the madness John! What year Highboy? I've got a 73 Highboy chassis with a 460/C6/Overdrive that I'm installing a 53 Ford Panel body on. Might even get it running this summer.............lol
