Call your dealer every Friday until they get your VIN. Depending on your dealers allocation, they could have it in a week or a couple months.

Ordered my truck 2/11/11 and was told at that time up to 12 weeks. The build began this past Monday 2/28/11. Two great pieces of news to report. In my area there is now a $4000 cash rebate, up from $3500 when I ordered, so hopefully my truck arrives before it expires on 4/11. Yesterday I received my Super Duty brochure I had requested on-line, and it had the much sought after $750 cash back bonus...things are adding up (or subtracting depending how you want to look at it) to a great buy!

I forgot to mention this little tid bit....my wife, seeing yet ANOTHER Super Duty brochure in the house, tossed it into the recycling bin. It wasn't until I was putting more paper in the bin did I spot the $750 brochure.

When does your coupon expire? Mine says you must take delivery between 2/17/11 and 4/18/11.

I hope mine gets here on time to cash it in.

I hope it gets there way before that, the current incentives up to $3500 end on 4-4-2011. I did not get the $1000 from Ford credit, a different bank beat there interest rate by 2% which is more then $1000. But I did get a $1000 trade credit and the $1500 everyone else it getting. There is also another $1000 rebate out there but that is if you get a diesel. Found that little fact out when I questioned the dealer and he had to look it up.

Here is a link to Fords incentive page. Just add your zip code and 2011 Super Duty

They also have folks that have previously owned a Ford or traded it in.

what i did was i got the order number and dealer number from my dealership and was able to call ford and they were able to give me the status most of the time (some of the customer service people didnt really seem to know what they were doing, while others were right on their game) I did that for checking in on my truck twice per week for the last 4 weeks till i got my vin which just came in on thursday. so it can take anything from 2-6 weeks just to get your vin but i would get your order number and dealer number and check it out that way because then you can get the information from ford a bit quicker then through your dealership.

This information will help others get an idea of the time line.

When did you order your truck?

When did yo get an invoice number?

When did you get a VIN#?

When did you receive the truck?

What state do you live?

Thanks

I would like to know where you got the $4 K from, If I check the rebates in my and your area and it looks like it went down to $3000 + $500 if Mil. or Cop.
Can you spec. that? I have to pick up my truck on monday so would like the max effect.
Diesel is 4000 + 500

Here's my order update:
2/11/2011: Dealer puts my order in
2/28/2011: My order is in the assembly system
3/8/2011: VIN assigned and parts are being taken off the shelf for the build (Ford has a technical term for this)
3/21/2011: Projected arrival date to dealership. Dealership said they've been generally been running a week longer than the stated to arrive.

I just checked and the incentives are now 'up to $5,000', plus the $750 coupon I have, plus the $500 'additional offers' I qualify for. Of course it has to be the perfect storm to get the full amount.
