Pretty sure there's a thread here somewhere where someone did exactly this. I remember the discussion about sourcing parts and what-not but I'll be danged if I remember the thread title or party involved...

I have a camel (tan) jump seat (cloth) in my 2008 F-250 XLT that I would love to trade for the regular center console if anyone is wanting to swap for a jump seat. Thanks,

Cketchum and I just swapped my console for his jumpseat. It was very easy. The big console with the square leather lid bolt in with the inner seat mounts. The plug for the power ports was already under his carpet. To install the seat, I needed to hit the hardware store for some bolts, cut the carpet under the rear seat mounts, and it worked out great.
