15 to 16 rims

I have a 1992 ford 150 4x4 with 15 inch tires, I want to switch to 16, what rims will fit my ford and not cause me any problems. They are 5 hole rims.

I am in the same situation with my 95. Someone told me that any dodge ram rims from 94-01 will deffinately fit, but the chrome ones will need some modification. Someone also said something about aerostars comming with a 16" rim that will work, but I never looked into that. Other than the ram rims, you are pretty much stuck in the aftermarket. There is a lot of aftermarket support for these year trucks, its just a matter of what you want to spend.

The way I understand it, is that they will work, you just have to open up the centers on the aluminum rims (not chrome, as stated before by me). I was told that the steels will bolt right on.

Aerostar wheels are a 5 on 4.5 pattern(ranger) and will not for on a F150
