OK so tonight I plug int my SCT tuner 3000 to my pc and clicked on automatic updates as I always do

It downloaded updates and then then had a big red box and it said the device could not be unlocked?

I tried unplugging and still the same

Any input on this or advice

My truck is currently in stock tune which is good if the unit is dead

Is there a fix to this or is this covered under SCT?

How long you had it ?
get on sctflash.com - they used to have forums there for odd behavior like that...
or at least give your selling dealer or sct a call...

sound like the update half way worked and hosed the unit...

 

OK so I called SCT today and it was a issue on their end with a new update

All fixed now so if you ever get a symbol saying it's locked up give SCT a call it took 1 hour to fix over the phone
