and still hasnt been fixed. truck keeps losing fuel pressure and going into limp mode. So far they have replaced the fuel cooler, low pressure fuel pump, raditator, EGR valve, and other small items.

They are dealing dealing with the ford hotline? or something to that effect trying to determine if the high pressure fuel pump needs to be replaced. I just want my truck fixed and back. Tired of being stuck in a rental. I drive all of Florida (about 3-4k miles a month) and want something confertable that im used to driving.

Anyone else experience long wait times to get their truck fixed. Hell its only 3 years old and only has 90k miles. Its had lots of problems and the most I ever pull with it is 5-6k and thats only 2 times a week at most.

Id be there everyday and/or phoning and getting on their case...that is bs, esp if a guy is making payments on his truck and its been out that long.

well for me in this case its a company truck but still. I have called them every other day. After they did all the mentioned above I went to pick it up. After I went no more than 1 block there was no fuel pressure and no power. I took it back and they said oh its probably got air pockets in the fuel line.

They took it and drove it for 12 miles with no issues. So they said come pick it up. They called at almost 5 and I didn't get a chance to call them back till the next morning. I called and they said oh im sorry we got it to act up again we think it might be the high pressure fuel pump. Well that was a week ago and still no luck. They said they are in contact with the ford hotline and doing some testing.

They seem to not be able to get it to throw any codes or have anything happen when on the line with the hotline. Im frusterated at this point.

I would be too, I dont understand why it takes a week to get approval for a repair..and a not uncommon one either.

HPFP or the VCV is my guess. I agree that they need to diagnose and not just replace parts but that is what it sounds like they are doing.
