Transmission Output shaft seal

Transmission Output shaft seal
I'm working on an '02 4x4 7.3 truck with a 4r100. From what I can tell its leaking fluid between the trans and t case. I've got the t case off and the extension housing off of the transmission. I'm trying to figure out if there is a seal on the output shaft or if the gasket between the trans and extension housing is the only thing that keeps fluid from leaking out. I've got alldata and identifix and they both list a part number for an extension housing seal but I'm thinking that might just be for 2 wheel drive trucks. I can't see anything on the output shaft because the parking gear is in the way. Does anyone know if there is a seal in there or should that gasket on the extension housing take care of it? thanks
