Is there a tag that gives me the interior colors?
I just pulled my headliner panel out so I can recover it and at the same time I would like to clean up, repair, and paint my interior trim panels. Is there a code on a tag somewhere that I can pull the interior color codes from? My truck is an '85 F150 XLT/Lariat that is two-tone brown and tan. The dash and A pillar trim appear to be one color, light tan or buckskin, and the door panels a darker shade of tan. My panels have taken quite a beating from the sun and are very bleached. The dash panel actually looks very nice with minimal fading and no cracks but I assume it has faded some as well. I plan on finding some SEM interior paint and spraying them but I need to know the code(s) first. The truck appears to be very original and has not been repainted as far as I can tell.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

The interior color code is located on the Safety certification lable located on the drivers cab "B" pillar located just below the door striker bolt.
It's in the three digit BODY code. First space is for seat and fabric trim, second is for interior trim color, and third is for back of cab code.

Thanks to all for your input!!!!!!!!
lgwilson,
I read through your thread a couple of times. I actually "borrowed" a couple of images for future reference (hope you do not mind). Your interior looks great, you did a fine job on the restoration. I think you are correct regarding the fawn and medium fawn. The colors look to be the same aside from the dirt, grime, and 25 years of neglect. If I can get mine to 50% of yours I will be pleased.
I am going to go pull the codes from the door tag (fortunately the truck still has it) and double check the codes.
Thank you again to all for your input.

If memory serves me correctly, my truck only showed one color code, U - fawn. Everything from the factory was that fawn (light) color besides the dash pad. I ended up doing my door panels two tone as you can see to add a little more of of the med. fawn inside.
I look forward to seeing how yours turns out.
