WTB: 460 Ford Van power steering pump bracket w/ AC

I'm trying to convert an F350 to a saginaw pump. I need a bracket from a Ford van mid 90's. It needs to be from a 460 with A/C.

Sure they had a saginaw? The ones I have seen were some funky pump with a remote reservoir.

yeah... they have the "canned ham" saginaw. I've seen quite a few in the junkyard but mostly on 4.9L's. I dont think its the same bracket as the 460.

I have a bracket with a good pump on it, the pulley is bent (thought I could remove the pulley with a 3 jaw puller) I can source a OEM pulley for it.

$40.00 + shipping with bent pulley, $55.00 plus shipping I will put a new pulley on for you. paypal only

I had it in a 87 bronco with a 97 EFI 460, I tore it appart and have some parts laying around.

I got everything from UPS last week... I appreciate your help. Did you use this van hose in your setup? It looks like I may be able to twist it a little to get it to work.

Yes the pressure hose I sent was from the van.

it hooked right up to f350 box.

Did you get my email about the shipping being quite a bit more than I orginially estimated?

I appreciate all your help. I'm actually putting everything together tonight. I had to order a new pulley which ended up being $45 bucks and took a week to come in. Kinda dumb since all the other pulleys are 10 or 15 bucks.

I never did get your email about shipping. I definitely don't mind giving you a little more for shipping. Would another $20 cover it?

Maybe I sent it to the wrong email, I though I sent it to the one your paypal was linked with.

I am really sorry I buggered that pulley.

I actually could have pulled one from the junk yard for you.

I usually see 302/351 vans in the yard with the sag pump. The pulley should be the same for the 460. (I saw one yesterday)

Do you remember what belt you used? I installed everything in the truck but only have intermittent power steering. I dont think theres any air in it because its running absolutley silent (which is nice). When the power steering is there its effortless but at slow speeds it sometimes doesnt work??

My old belt was too short to get the idler pully back on... I went and got a longer belt but I'm thinking it may be a little too long. I just cant figure out why it would come and go like that.

I didn't have any issues with the belt. When I installed it I used the same belt that was on there. Auto zone lists the same belt for the truck and van with a 460. (1996)

Are you using the pump I sent you? I thought you said you had a new pump. It worked great when I pulled it off but that was back in Nov. I don't remember any issues. I did that swap about 4 years ago and haven't touched the pump since. Sorry I am not more help.

I would just double check everything, try to bleed it again.

Yup... Reinstalled the old belt and it fixed the problem.
