'66 Jack and lug wrench storage

When I bought my '66 truck it did not have a jack and lug wrench with it. The '66 owner's manual doesn't mention where the jack and lug wrench are supposed to be stored (or if it does, I missed it). Please help. Thanks!

wraped in a rag or sock under the seat

or if you can find a 73-79 f100/250 etc.... get the bracket and jack from under the hood, it mounts to the right fender apron.

Could not find jack location in the assembly manual either. During salvage shopping days saw majority of the jacks and lug wrenches were secured by a bracket to the driverside inner fender.

Some store the jack inside the spare wheel. The usual location is underneath the seat along with the lug wrench and jack crank handle.

Left (drivers) side inner fender apron for jack stowage began in 1967. The jack's crank handle was secured with clips to the front of the radiator support.

This was a homemade solution for the jack handle in the red truck.LOL, but it does the job. And this is what I'm going to do in the other truck with some stuff I got out of a '70 f-100. And this is what will be in both for the jack itself

There was no such thing as Motorcraft until 1973. Rotunda was a line of accessories back then. In the 1970's Rotunda became a line of Ford shop tools.

As I recall, the jack was under the seat "Sally Rand" and this is correct AFAIK, cuz I bought a '65 F100 new.

Sally Rand was a fan dancer, famous for taking it "all off." This was an old car nuts term for "nothing on it."
