Not my truck. Just a pic i found on here a long time ago. Dont even remember who it belongs to. I looked into doing that but it just didnt give me enough bed space.

This set up that i have is a project that someone else had kinda half *** started but its a super cab long bed frame im told and with the crew cab on it im told a short bed will go right on it. so it will end up being a crew cab short bed. I am looking for a short bed also in the wyoming/colorado/nebraska/south dakota/utah Area lol. If anyone has one or knows where i can find one that would be awesome.

False. The wheelbase of a crew shortbed is 150". A supercab longbed is 155". So you either need to add about 5-6" to a shortbed, cut a longbed down or cut 5" out of your frame. I know this because i have the same setup in my garage right now.

If it were mine I would also add the extra 6" to it but thats because I haul dirtbikes and wheelers around all the time and an extra 6" in a short bed would be very nice!

That is a good point also for the extra room. I was having problems finding a short bed so i spose i could just get a long bed and cut it down to what i need eh? man im glad this got brought up while im in the tear down and not after it was all put back together lol

so it has been way way too long since ive updated anything on here at all. pretty much the garage has been full of other projects that ive been working on and the ol crew had to be put on the back burner for a little bit. Since then tho i acquired the origonal frame and box. Its a 2wd dually and im not too sure if this box is a hard one to find or not. if so i dont really have any use for it. So if someone is interested in it let me know. heres some pictures. When it starts to get warmer if nobody wants it im gonna use it to practice my body work and try and shorten it to a short bed length just for practice cause i think thats what im gonna have to do for a bed for the truck im building. Anyway Heres the pictures any input would be sweet. It seems to be in pretty good shape.
