Off Topic-soon to be my shift ****.

Hi.I been making plans to have my automatic shift lever on the outside of my truck since i got it.I wanted to put it on the floor but I want to be able to slide from passenger to driver side with out the shifter in the middle. I love to put weird things everywhere and now i got the chance to use this old native indian carved nutcracker and i will use it as a ****.It belonged to my girl friends great grandma, who unfortunately passed away on thanksgiving.she was 90 years old,she was in WW2 and so was her husband. He was a spy for the us army in Germany.Well here it is:

I'm a fan of the outrageous out the window shifting. I don't know how the wooden nutcracker is going to fare out in the elements. Can't wait to see pictures when it is complete.

Seth,
you need to find a practice grenade. They look just like an original with out the bang issue and you can cut it up without any guilt..

By the way have you ever found the box that you think out of??? I know it has been missing for a while.

Great nutcracker/shifter!

I'm using a beer tap, but shifter ***** are a great display of individuality. We should see more.

From the pictures it looks like it might have been out in the cold for some time.

SO I don't get it! how does spreading the leg get your truck to shift??

Just kidding!

thats pretty cool. Almost seems to old and (maybe sentimental) to use as a shifter. but I like it, and would wonder how to best protect it from the elements too.

Cheers
