there are several brands of plug repairs kits that do the job without removing teh head..
even Ford can do this repair (wether this will want to is another question)
depends on how bad the threads left in the head are at this point aswell..
ps go round the rest of ur plugs and change em out for fresh ones and make sure your RE-TORQUE em to spec.

Do the timesert like reccommended above. I had a local shop do a helio coil and it didn't last one trip. Now with a rely bad plug hole, I researched and tracked down the tooling and had same shop do a Bigsert and a couple years later it is still going strong. Don't know where you live but I you could try Blowoutsparkplug.com (I think that's what it was) they will come to you and fix it. I didn't end up needing their service but they gave me some really good advice that helped lots. Good luck. I've been in your shoes.
