Where are the bolt holes to bolt the T-stat housing to the manifold? Is that a line of weld on the top of the manifold in line with where one of those holes is supposed to be?
Is it just my poor eyesight or is that a T-bird 3 deuce set up? The carbs sat at more of an angle on a T-bird. I think 8 bills is all the money for a welded up intake in todays economy.

None of the big block mustangs came with an oil fill/breather tube either. Definitely an older deuce setup. If complete, the carbs and linkage are worth the 800.

This is a Galaxie setup you can see the angled carb pads. The Tbird 6V used a flat intake as the engines sit level in those. The T-bird 6V intakes are a little different and pretty well sought after when you find them. Single 4V carb T-bird FE's used a angled spacer to level the carb. As they used the same angled carb pad intakes all other FE's used. Why they didn't use angled spacers on the 6V T-bird is anyones guess. I think it was hood clearance or the lack of on the Birds. So it got it's own casting revised and also the aircleaners were unique with the T Bird logo vs the plain full ribbed top on the Galaxie 6V.
I agree for $800 it's not a bad deal. T stat holes redo easy fix as others said. I sold my old 406 6V 100% all original with factory aircleaner for $1600 years ago on evilbay. Prices have come down quite a bit on this stuff.
That would be the firing order that was cast into most FE intakes.
Read the posted ad, seller gives that as the "Part #".......
Granted, that number is visible in the pictures, right below the words "Firing order". Some people don't know a firing order from a casting number......

Yep I didn't read the ad that closely and missed that. Thanks.
