Hi all, i have been reading here on this site about all the spark plug issues on the 5.4 3v Triton. I have read that this engine was updated to a different style of plug to eliminate the breaking of the plugs in the removal process. What is the engine build date that these engines were updated. I have heard several different dates. Thanks

Is the 10/08/07 the correct build date then?

 

From what I have read if your boots are brown you have the new plugs.
Black boots you have the old design with the removal issue.
