Hi All,
I have a brand new set of telecoping towing mirrors from a 2002 250 and would like to put them on my 99. Allthough they look exactly the same from the outside, my 99 is power adjustable for the main mirror and doesn't telescope in or out.

The new mirrors telescope but are not power adjusting on the main mirror. No electrical connection whatever.

My original 99 mirors are in good condition, have a few hairline cracks in the housings, but otherwise are fine and adjustable. The new ones might look better but I don't want to lose the power adjustment.

If I can't switch out the power adjustment, I guess I'd sell the new ones. I'd like to hear what you think.

You might be better off buying new mirrors. Try looking around ebay.
