Good morning Steve and the SoCal crew, welcome to February. Well, we have plenty of snow here, another 3 inches overnight. And just to enhance the misery, it's 8 or 9 degrees out, and the wind is howling.....

I don't see any snow, do you?
I see there's another good sized water main busted over in your neighborhood...a little bit closer to Keith, I guess

Yea, that water line break is about a mile and a half west of Kieth, and it's about four miles east of us.
They're blaming "cold water" for it?
How about "old pipes" instead?
A "cast iron" pipe, twenty inches in diameter? That's GOTTA' be old!

Taking the '06 in for emissions testing today. I'll start a thread on the experience when I get back.

Took me a minute to figure out why it was so quiet in the Jan thread...
The cast iron pipes in my are are showing their age too. Every valve in my condo (sinks, toilets, etc) were so clogged up with giant flakes of rust that I had to shut the water down and tear them all down to clean them up. I was at least able to re-use most of the seals though, so saved a trip to the hardware store. Thinking it's time to get a sediment filter running on more than just the kitchen sink.
How's everyone doing this evening? The 40 lb puppy's passed out on the floor after a 6 mi hike.

I'm not seeing it, but I notice the pages are slower to load, and "default.com" is showing up down in the left hand corner of my screen while the pages are loading. I'll try it in IE and see what happens.
Edit: Yep.
It's been mentioned in the moderators forum also.

I suspect that default.com is just the latest they've added to the mix.
I blocked it, too. What does a "supporter" have to do?
