I think it is common for dealers to just try to hype up what they got in a sour economy.

Personally I am interested if the Eco-Boost lives up to the hype. I know the small turbo motor works better in the GTI vs the bigger NA motor of the Golf, but neither of these are trucks that tow.

Hell I would love to see some kid slam a F-150 RCSB, and turn up the boost all the way. With some gears and decent tires that could be a hot set-up.

 

I just tried to build a eco-boost in a RCSB, and Ford doesn't have that configeration. You need to put it into a RCLB or Super cab minimum.

I think they will loose more ground to the custom truck scene again.

 

Doubt it. The 5.4 wasn't available in the RCSB either.
