Mine was gone when I got it, besides, Ford seems to have forgotten the USB port and Bluetooth functionality in our trucks...

I can live without any of that bull crap! Especially while driving!
My '88 F150 I bought a while ago had a almost brand new CD player in it, very first thing I did to the truck was remove that radio, sold it off, went to the scrap yard, and got my self a Factory Ford radio of those years with cassette

If they would make a "factory style" looking radio for these trucks with a USB port, I'd be one of the first to buy one....
But untill then, I can't stand how ugly a new radio looks in a nice old truck.... just doesn't belong.
And some of you are probably wondering why the heck would I take tapes over CD's.
Tapes are much smaller, fits in your pockets, doesn't hurt them to fall on the floor, or anything. CD's are to big to handle around when your driving, if they fall they get scratched, then skip and all that crap.
Nothing like a good 8 track or cassette

There were four radios offered for 1985 - 1986:
Conventionally tuned AM/FM stereo radio,
Conventionally tuned AM/FM Stereo radio with cassette tape player,
Electronically tuned AM/FM Stereo radio,
Electronically tuned AM/FM Stereo radio with cassette tape player
The conventionally tuned had a **** on both ends and mechanical push buttons. The electronically tuned had a digital display.

I think this is the ultimate in 2 post radios:
Circa 82 or so, Pioneer component system, external amps, DN cables, no direct power connection to the deck... LOL
You don't get much more period correct than how the interior was in my 82 years back:
It's mostly the same now, just some added switches and levers... LOL

I've had the radio for years, actually picked up a very rusted out 84 Mustang just for the deck and front speaker amp... LOL I picked up a 6 band equalizer/dual amp balancer and a GM120 amp for the rear off of e-bay over the years, I have the whole shebang, with modern speakers it actually sounds pretty good.
