I am now fairly sure that Jason was in fact the victim of the avalanche in Smithers on Saturday. I checked his facebook page and there are many messages concerning this.
Right now I am kind of in shock. No names have been released as of yet but it all points to Jason.
RIP Jason (J_E_Summit) My thoughts are with you, your family and friends.
I'll be back later. This is hard.

This is terrible, I only had the opportunity to chat with him on a few select occasions and it was always a pleasure. My condolences to friends and family, he will be missed!
I'm not really sure what to say. Damn. Spent many a day here chatting with Jason. Chris, are you absolutely sure? Could there be a chance he survived, or are they sure he perished?
