billet fuel press. regulator. any good???
I've been talking to a guy about some parts for my ol girl. He said he can get the billet fuel pressure regulator and it will boost the pressure up 10 psi. Is this gonna help me out any?
He says he can get the regulator, 4" mbrp stainless down pipe, and the intank mod it for 200$ shipped to me. Is this a good deal?
I'm posting from my phone so no sig. Its a 1/99 with a 4" muffler back, edge ezf 1000, trans temp, boost, pyro gauges.

If I were you I would give Bob or Clay a call and run it by them. I know they sell them as well. If it was me I would think the FPR would come complete without having to use your guts out of your stock one? I dont know much about them hopefully someone will be along with more info and I can learn more about them as well.

If it were me and my truck I would spend the money on this from riffraff. For the price you can't beat it. Helps get rid of our trucks dead head fuel system and make your truck idle/ run smother and better.

Increasing the fuel pressure is done by increasing the spring pressure of the FPR. If you look at the above picture you see it has 3 different colored springs. Each one is a little different and will increase your fuel pressure.
The "guts" he is speaking of are the piston that the spring sits on.
The FRx uses a similar housing as the billet one above and also increases the pressure. It also eliminates the "dead head" fuel rail issue. Money well spend IMO, so I would call Clay like mentioned above.
