302 performer rpm vs summit stage 2 vs ???
I have a 302 2 barrel in my truck (77 f150) that is leaking due to stripped threads in the tstat housing. Since i have to pull the intake to fix the problem i figured i might as well upgrade to 4 barrel but can't decide on the intake. The only one i have experience with is the performer rpm i had on a 350 which i really liked and the summit looks like its a copy of that intake so i was considering going that route. Anyone have experience with these intakes or have suggestions for other intakes to look into?

If your engine is mostly stock, you'd be better off with a dual plenum set up, like Edelbrock's Performer (not RPM) or the Weiand Action+.
The open plenum of the Performer RPM or Summit Stage II sacrifices low end power in order to feed the engine at high revs. For a stock/street type setup keep it smaller and you'll appreciate the torque...
Good luck!

Totally agree, especially with the small 302 and heavy truck. You may gain a little MPG with the four barrel if you keep your foot out of it, but you are already running one of the better carbs Ford used. Personally, having changed a number of them to four barrels, I'd leave it be unless you plan on upgrading to a different cam etc.

The stealth is pretty solid from what I've read. I had one, but some *&^%&^ stole it. I've seen a couple comparisons on Action+, Performer RPM, and Stealth. But still...a bit much, in my opinion, for a mostly stock usage.
Consider the heads, exhaust, intake, and carb as a whole system. The stock heads/cam will never let the engine breathe to the point where the Stealth will be any more fun. If you over intake or over carburate, you are doing nothing except killing power down low on the RPM band that you actually could have used.
You know what carb you plan to run? I've got a 600 CFM Holley on mine, and I really think I'm quite over carbed. I want the 470 truck Avenger

if they aren't already on my engine i was planning in the future to do a gt40 head swap maybe a rv game. My engine actually makes pretty good power already so it possible it may be a little worked and i just dont know it. I know the trans and tcase where rebuilt by catt but nothing about the engine other then its not original. Exhaust will probably go with headers into straight pipe and some turbo mufflers maybe glass packs. Carb i am not sure on probably something in the 600 range. I tend to like trails and mud holes more then rock climbing so not to worried about angles.
