I found my issue to be the shifting unit on the side of the transmission. There are two alignment marks, one on the shifter and one on the shaft going into transmission. They were about a 32nd of an inch off. Fixed my reverse lights and my 4x4 shifting issues.
Thanks for the info.
The Ex. was towed home. No start
Once it was home. It started. Gear selector was the problem. Not in park .
I'm having the same problem with it not starting and sayings it's in (D) drive while its in (P) park. Did just tightening the torx screws under the dash fix your problem like the previous person with the pictures stated? Or did you have to do the adjustments on the transmission?
