Horn - 2000 F150

Greetings! I just bought a 2000 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 (5.4L) and am very satisfied with my truck.... with the exception of the horn. It sounds like something you'd expect to hear honking from a puny little Suzuki Samurai.

Is the horn supposed to sound that wimpy or is my horn really supposed to have a dual sound horn and it's just broken? Any ideas or suggestions on a replacement horn that sounds beefier?
Thanks!

I've seen a few of these that one of the horns was dead.
The working one doesn't exactly sound very authoritative.
Wow that's a big word
From Ford they come as a set but I'm not sure what they cost. There is only one bolt that holds it on...not a big deal to replace.

Question Horn - 2000 F150

Thanks for the response.

Are there any web sites I can order the OEM replacement horns from or will I have to go through our local Ford dealer?
