Heys guys

I am looking for a descent mechanic up North that works on these old Ford trucks, I am having a few issues and just don't have time to do the repairs

1-freeze plugs leaking (2)
2- Emergency brake issues
3-Possible left lock in hub issues

Any thoughts

FYI- I would love to barter if possible, HVAC is my trade

Thanks

Dan in Berthoud

See if Burg460 is taking any side work. Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: Burg460

I don't know how often he gets on here. If you can't reach him through FTE, try RMFTC.

Did you ever find some help for your truck? I am looking for some HVAC help to get a heater in my garage. I am also looking for some 35s and see in another post you are looking to down size but I don't think our wheels are interchangeable. I just put a 4" ProComp on my SD and am trying to decide if the tires are too small.

I live just down the road in Firestone and have a ~900 sq ft garage with 12' ceilings that I had gas run to the front corner of when it was built with the intention of putting a hanger in that corner. The power panel is also in the garage so that would be easy as well. I am a former certified master for nearly 20 years that moved on to computer stuff for the last 15 so I can definately help you with your truck if you need. My first Ford truck was a '76 250 that I bought new just out of high school. Probably still my favorite truck, although with the lift I just put on my SD it is making a run at it. You could also send a PM if you like.
