I tell u something,it added hp..only after i re maped the injectors and ajusted the fuel air mix was perfect. Without the injector adj it was running lean due to the mass of air.

Also the maf being so close to TB couldnt hold idle,so i resized the iac pipe(3/8 copper in pic) to be right acrost from maf..ergo the air suction from that fools maf to act normal..that with slight maf curve adj and i was good to go

It looks like a "hot rod" engine!

Can you take another pic but further back so we can see the entire engine compartment?

Whatever you do, don't put it on a dyno. It will only disappoint you...

Its looks cool but it has got to suck a lot of hot air, being right above the exhaust manifold. Needs to suck cold air from outside. JMO

Good point wulfman, however i adjusted the injectors to play well with all that air. Also i took under hood temp readings at idle and hallin azz. At idle intake air tem was 20 degrees above outside engine running due to fan,45 degrees hotter with engine just turned off,and 3 degrees hotter while underway....ergo cold air intakes to outside are useless

Nice intake, the plus of having it above the manifold is more under hood room! I still want to see how that floor shifter of yours works. That would be a hell of a lean to get down to the floor. Got any pics?

de shifter yes...well its easy and all by directions that come with the b&m truck mega shifter, good news is nutral safty and back up lights sensor are in the trans position sensor on trans below trans shift lever. Bad news is the shift endents on shifter dont match 4r100 trans....so what i had to do is lower the hole in shift lever about 5/8 inch therebye reducing throw to match b&m shifter. The hardest part is getting the new hole in,as the lever cant be removed from outside and its hard to get drill at..and its high carbon steel=fubar even with 1/8 drill bit. So i had to use an oxy tourch and get there and give it a quick burst to get hole started, then ya can finish with 3/8 drill bit..just have wet rag around trans position sensor so not to fry it. Ill try to get pics of the hole in shift arm im talkin about.
