EGR Test

I am potentially having and issue with my EGR. I pulled the codes and they are all pointing at EGR problems. How do I test to see if it is working? On another post someone suggested doing a vacuum test. How do I do that?

Thanks for any and all advice!

I have used a hand held vacuum pump/gauge to pull a measured amount of vacuum on the EGR valve then use a DVM to measure the output signal of the EVP sensor. I reference the values listed in the link Slip ford man posted above.
