Heated Steering Wheel Options?

So my '04 steering wheel is lookin' pretty worn and I would love to find an option for a heated steering wheel. (would benefit from it 6 months out of the year)

Was there ever a factory option for any of the F series that will bolt right on to our X's? I only have cruise buttons in the wheel so all I need are the basics.

Ideas, options?

Heated steering wheel is worlds above gloves... Gloves only insulate the body heat your hands produce. Heated steering wheel provides heat to those hands above what your body can make. Your statement is much like, you should just wear clothes for the first 10 minutes and you won't need heated seats. Heated seats are not a need, but damn they're nice (when they work...)

I'd love to put a heated steering wheel on my car/truck. Heck I'd even install a heated shift **** on my car. Something about holding onto a -20 degree object takes the heat right out of your hands. And it takes a long time to heat a vehicle up at that temp. Yeah, don't need it, but it sure would be nice.

Had it on my BMW X-5. Gotta say I would like them in every vehicle I own. Sweet.

The reviews on this are terrible so that worries me. And yes, gloves compared to a heated steering wheel are very different. Especially when my commute is only 15-20 minutes.

I am considering doing a Wheelskins leather wrap and could lace some 12V heat tape under it. Anyone know if/where there is a constant 12V coming in to the steering wheel so I can tap some power for the heat tape?

I would get the heated wheel and then a soft pink fur cover for it.
