1995 Door Hinges

My drivers door is starting to sag when opened. Am I able to change the pin and bushings or do I have to replace the whole door hinge. Are these parts available at a parts store or do I have to pay the dealership prices?

FWIW yes, you can buy the hinge pins and bushings but after seeing this info posted on these boards I changed mine (MAJOR PITA, you have to take the door off to change them because they're boogers to get out with the door still on- don't even bother trying it). NO CHANGE, the door still hung/sagged and closed badly.

Wound up doing what I was gonna do in the first place, and have done on previous full size Fords, one washer on each bolt on the door between the hinge and the door itself picks the door up just enough to fix it up right. Do this only on the bottom hinge, you can add/subtract washers on the bottom hinge if you need more or less lift. Mine was fixed up with one washer on each of the bolts.

Before you change your pins, you need to look at the welds for the hinges from the hinge to the cab. Mine has cracked on both sides and that will cause your doors to sag. I am gonna have to pay a visit to the local body shop to get them to fix it. I am not sure if this is a common problem with '95's but the weld has cracked pretty bad. I felt that y'all might have overlooked this problem and I wanted to make sure y'all looked before doing something unneccessary, or something that wouldn't fix this problem.

you have a little adjustment on the hinge itself where it bolts to the door
lift up on the door and see how much it moves it may just need the bushings
but while your changing the bushing you may aswell change the pin too
its an easy fix

The driver's doors on my truck and my buddy's truck (identical other than color) did the same thing...I've seen alot of Ford trucks with the problem...Mine got so bad, the door wouldn't shut unless I lifted up on it while closing..A pain in the @$$ when the window motor went bad!
