2004 f350 6.0 hpop question

TheyHi all...im semi new here.

I have a 04 f350 4x4 that has 100k on her, arp studs, egr delete, intake, exhaust from turbo back without cat and usually runs like a top. I also have a sct tuner....not the livewire but the hand held....

Recently my truck has bern towed to shop...it cranks but wont start. They are telling me I need a new hoop.... how much does this cost? Im freaked out

I would say $900 for the replacement of the FICM is a reasonable price compared to some people that reported they were charged $1,000-$1,100

Absolutely, You can buy a rebuilt one pre programmed for your MY year for about $400-$500 or you can send your FICM to a rebuilder for a quick turn around for around $300-$350 They are very easy to install.

I cannot repair it myself... I just had my second back surgery in 6 months 2 weeks ago. I can't be climbing up into the motor of a truck just yet. The pain is worse than the cost.
