I could tell several pages of BS stories, due to complaining people. There are a lot of regs that are not enforced unless someone complains. Such as people moving into an area where a farmer had a bunch of vehicles - complained - had to remove or go to jail. Didn't matter that the vehicles were there before. I know one guy who did go to jail because he couldn't demo a house in time. Complainers have since moved. A person moved into the area, didn't like the noon "fire whistle" the mayor shut it down. The guy moved 2 wks later. Whistle still shut down. There are "neighbors" and there are "good neighbors"

stupid laws suck

oregons ust as screwed up... we vave some of the most lax lift laws but they let the county & city just run rampint on the little guy...used to have an inspecter over twice a week.. as long as the vehical was in the driveway and infront of the garage i could work on it... it needed to show progress every week or it would be towed...then i'd be fined...here a neigbor has to complain to start an investigation...it turned out to be the 62 year old bat accross the street with 2 masive overgrown firs...it turns out we also have a home fire sfatey/ yard maintinece ordince requiring trees to be trimmed and maintained...revenge is sweet...i moved back to my small home town where they get that guys work on there rigs and thats how some of us roll... oh for the good old days.... i'd look into the antique plates and registration...over here you can drive 500 miles a year and registration is one time only...vehical only be 25 years old..
