Its 20* and cloudy here... last nite we got hit by one heck of a blizzard, 14" of snow and 40-50mph winds. I went out in it to pull a buddy out of the ditch, and boy was it rough. I couldnt see the road 20' in front of my headlites, and when i passed a pickup going the other way it was compete white out! when things finally cleared i was on the other side of the road, glad i didnt hit the ditch myself.

I really have a hard time wrapping my head around the extreme weather a lot of you guys deal with. It is impressive. As I type this it is almost ten in the morning, and a nice 68 degrees without a cloud in the sky. But then I live in sunny SoCal.
We don't have weather here, but we do have more 4x4 trucks than almost any place on the planet. Big old crew cab trucks with lifts measured in feet used mostly to haul the ski boat up the launch ramp, or a couple of ATVs out to that last great frontier that is the California desert.
I know you all deal with it because you have to, but my hat is off to you all the same.

Now... I still like the change of seasons, with the exception of winter. Once the kiddos are older, I'm thinking of exploring my options of relocating.

It was -39 this morning with just enough wind to put the wind chill below -50. This is all in Fahrenheit by the way. University of Wyoming still didn't close down even though the average walk from the dorms to most classes is 10-15 minutes and longer for those of us that live off campus. Frostbite before you can even get to class? No wonder most classes had an under 50% attendance rate these last two days.
I thought about cranking the 5.0 to see if it would fire up but decided I didn't want to tempt anything that wanted to break. At least I have yet to see my car not start. -39 and it fired right up with the remote start.
