I tow broke down 6.7's back to the dealer. Well, not exactly. Mostly a Terry fifth wheel. At 7K pounds it's relatively a lightweight compared to some of yours.

First time to drive mine, hauled my old tundra back from Salina KS. Averaged 9.5 on the gauge, I'm impressed with the power. 2014 bought used (7000) miles. Xlt fx4 6.2l. 4.30.

Nice! I have almost identical numbers to yours. How do you like the way your truck handles the load?

How does it handle it?

Well...

No Issues so far with the 3.73 rear...she pulls it just fine.

Gas mileage seems even or a little better than my TT, even though twice the weight.

Lot of weight on the back, new feeling coming from a TT

Timbrens are keeping it level and under control.

I need to check the adjustment on the 5'ers brakes, could be a litter stronger, I have the brakes on 10

More to come as I gain some experience with the new rig.

This is my fifth RV and by far the best ive owned. My truck has 3200 lbs of payload and with the trailer loaded and hitched up I have about 700 lbs to spare so you should be ok but near the max for the sticker. Truck will handle the load just fine.msteep grades require a little more work. There are a couple of posts here about it and upgrading to 4.30's. You didn't mention if you had a shortbed or not but the front cap is really "friendly" to short beds. One of the pictures below show how close the cap gets to the cab with wheel fully cocked.

My 6.2 backing my new TT into the backyard. It's about 29 ft 11 inches long. I haven't towed it too far yet but this summer I am headed to Montana with it.

My grandpa bought a 11' CCSB F350 with the 6.2, 3.73 gears for on the farm. He tows a 36ft delta hydraulic dove tail with about 10k worth of classic tractors that's all the truck does. After 4 years it only has 12k on the clock, today we went and picked up a John Deere 4430 tractor ( weighted about 13k ). Yes the truck knew it was back there, yes it was revved out ALOT, but I was very impressed with how the truck handled the load. I know my past 460 or 7.3 would have struggled with it. I'm pricing a 15' F250 with the 6.2 can't justify the diesel and damn these motors sound sweet making power!

My truck pulls like a dream. I might never be able to part with it.

(forgive my appearance in the third pic, I was goofing off with my iPad but the lighting and sky were too good to trash it) :-)
