Pink vacuum line where does it go??? Econoline 350 1995

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the pink vacuum line: it is not connected and I can't find any information about it either on the manual or on the net. Please, help me!

It's an Econoline 350 1995 V8. I know that there's the sticker under the hood, but is not helping that much. I know that it should go to the AIR B / AIR D valve, but I couldn't to find it...

I'll post some pics for you to have it more clear.

Thanks!

pics:
1 sticker under the hood
2 pink vacuum hose from the inside (behind dog house)
3 pink vacuum hose from front
4 from the front on a bigger plan

That pink one goes from the tab solenoid to the air bypass valve
Both those TAB and TAD solenoids get their supply from the vacuum reservoir
They no longer call them tab and tad
But that is the best way to think of them, thermactor air diverter and thermactor air bypass
So, there is upstream downstream and divert to atmosphere
They get to backfiring if the thermactor air hits the cat when it is not supposed to

Nowadays that diverter valve diverts downstream or upstream IIRR and its the bypass valve that diverts to atmosphere (farts through the felt)
The diagnosis gets a little involved
Just make sure they are all hooked up correctly and you should have no trouble
The tab and tad solenoids and the diverter valve last about forever

Where it goes physically

Thanks everyone for answering, but maybe my question wasn't clear. I'm trying to understand where it goes physically, as I know from the sticker and from the internet where it goes, but as it's not connected, I've no idea where I need to plug it. I can't find videos or any other useful information. Where are the TAB and TAD located in the van? Does anyone have the same van or a very similar one?

Thanks again 🙏

These should help. Be careful with the vac lines. They can break pretty easily.

Thanks mate for these diagrams! But I guess that's exactly where my cut pink hose comes out! Do you know after where it's supposed to go? If you see the pics I put above, the pink line has been cut and they put a lid on it. I bought the van a couple of months ago and doing some works on it and found it this way. So I've no idea what they did.
The diagram under the hood says it goes from the AIR B AIR D (TAB/TAD) to SOL V air b air d in front of the vehicle. I think I can't find SOL V, because in the diagrams you posted, that's where my hose comes out.

Thanks a lot if you can help me out!!

Oh,sorry. Now I realize you need to know where the other end goes. Here are a couple of pics I took of the pass. side of my '93 engine. I took them so I'd be sure to get things back in the right place after I changed the plugs on that side. They are easier to change if you unbolt the bracket that holds the lower valve+hoses/tubes and move them back out of the way. The air bypass valve (AIR B on the diagram) is the lower valve in the pics. The colors of the two vac lines don't show up well but I believe the arrow points to the correct line:

Here is a diagram from a '95 FSM and it doesn't show vac lines. Neither the FSM or EVTM have very good info on vac line connections.

BTW: You don't specify which engine you have and we've been assuming you have a 5.8:

Thank you a lot, you've been very very helpful. I'm gonna check that out. Yes, sorry, it's a 5.8
