I know other areas got more snow, but Snowmageddon 2011 dumped all of 2" at my house. Not even enough to get some fun driving. But it is so colds the roads have re-frozen and are sheet ice.
Classic Seattle drivers are stacking up on hills and getting sideways. Nothing like watching a line of front-wheel drive cars trying to move on a hill and start spinning in unison. Looks like synchronized driving as they slide sideways into the ditch. The hybrids are really fun to watch, with the added weight of the batteries and full torque at start. Time to stay home hippies...
I'll be praying for the driver I saw in a 4x4 toy. She appeared to be in full panic and unable to make a decision. On a flat road at a stop light, she took the full "green" cycle to decide to even start moving. Strange.

We probably have 10" on the ground now. There's an 18-wheeler in the ditch just down the road from my house. Pretty sure it's the moving van that all my new neighbors' stuff is in :/
Two facts I can tell you about Sequim drivers.... One, they don't know how to drive in the snow. Two, they have NO common sense.

This happened yesterday afternoon. One of my customers was stuck in the ensuing traffic jam, and said he saw the car that crossed the centerline trying to pass a DOT plow truck.

Premise: Sequim drivers have no common sense (see above)
Premise: forddude05 lives and drives in Sequim
Conclusion: forddude05 has no common sense
Just an observation, sorry... could not resist.
