Wouldn't want that to happen...what would the neighbors think?

We went down and had lunch at the Lardon (yes, Lardon) truck this afternoon as it happened to be in the neighborhood. I had a Bavocado, which is potatoes, cheddar and avocado served in a bacon shell...kinda like a taco...with a sour cream horseradish sauce on the side. Topped off with a brownie with bacon sprinkles. I highly recommend a visit when the truck is in your area.

bacon shell as a taco? I need to find this trucks schedule. Anything with bacon sprinkles sounds good.

The schedule is right there in the link...they'll update it tonight or tomorrow morning. They're usually out on the Westside or in The Valley. They don't get down here too often.

It'd be worth the drive even for just the novelty of that taco you described.

If I remember correctly, it was bacon sprinkled on a maple icing topped chocolate cupcake. You're damned right I'd have another one.

Steve, you'd stick out like a sore thumb in da hood. At least LB has a few white minorities.

Speaking of sore thumbs, how's the digit?

Hey Gail...good to see you. The toe is doing fine. Might even try cramming a shoe on there soon.

How's Jack doing since his surgery?

He's good. As close to 100% as a dog his age could be for having a knee rebuild.
You going to make it up this way for a drag race this Spring?
