Took some lift out of my truck...
So, some of you guys probably remember back in the summer when I built my shackle reversal and did the rear shackle flip... Once I got it done I thought the truck was too tall and it has been bugging my since. So, after I built my new Jackstands I decided to address the issue. First I built new swing shackles for the back of the front springs, previously I was just using the factory shackles from the front and they were just over and inch too long. After I installed the new shackles I decided to remove two leafs from my front packs to bring the truck down just a bit and hopefully make it ride a little nicer.... Here is a before and after. Next on the list is ditching the rear lift blocks for springs and removing the factory 2" block to level it back out. Plus, move the rear axle back 2" to get it back in the wheelwell. Once I do all that, maybe I will be happier..

oh ok, hah, well, as you know I was referring to rake as in the angle, but anyway. So, I have to ask, how much lower do I need to go before I get safely away from Big Ghey Truck Land.... Once I level it out in the back, it will have 6.5"-7" of lift and 38" tall tires that measure 36" cause Nitto is lame.....

idk, i'm pretty sure as long as you don't have ags in the 50''+ range and a foot gap between the bottom of the fender and the top of the tire you are clear of being in bgtl. i grew up on monster trucks, so i like tall trucks, i just like them to be proportionate. like how i hated the way 38's looked on my 350, but the wider 40'' boggers were perfect.
