Built some "high Lift" Jack Stands so I can actually work on my truck..
Well, since getting into my dads shop and on his lift is next to impossible, and I really wanted to work on my truck, I decided that I finally needed to go ahead and build some jack stands that I would feel safe with. So I used a bunch of stuff I had laying around work and whipped these out yesterday. All the tubing is heavy wall and they are heavy as hell. They adjust from 28" up to 42" tall, there is room on the tubing to go higher but I decided to leave them alone for now, dont think I am going to need a frame height higher than 42" unless I move to Florida...

I know, haha, but I only lowered the truck like 1 1/2"-2" and a regular set of jackstands is like 12"-14" too short to be used safely, so I would have to have the tall jackstands even if I lowered the truck down a bunch more... Dont make fun of me Dan, I might cry out of my one good eye......

you would get smacked in the back of the head by the wife for looking at other girls more often, cause you would not be able to see them and her watching you drooling at the same time.
